Sitges Buses
Sitges buses, run by the company MonBus, operate between the Sitges town and Barcelona. They leave from Plaza Espanya and Ronda Universitat during the course of the day. The journey from Ronda Universitat to Sitges takes around 55 minutes and from Plaza Espanya it takes only 45 minutes, although this can be longer at weekends as the buses make more stops. The buses go via Barcelona El Prat Airport, so if you’re traveling from another country, you can also catch the bus outside the airport. Getting here by bus is a great way to view the beautiful scenery during your journey. The bus company “Monbus” operates this route, and you can find the schedule and purchase tickets at the Sitges bus station or online.
Sitges Buses By Night
During the night, the buses, named N30, N31 AND N32, are run under a different company. They run from Plaza Catalunya rather than Ronda Universitat or Plaza Espanya. The night bus journey is shorter as it goes directly from Barcelona to Sitges, with the journey time lasting just 35 minutes.
Ticket Information
You can purchase bus tickets directly from the bus driver when boarding the bus. It’s advisable to have cash on hand as not all buses accept credit cards. Additionally, there may be options to purchase multi-journey tickets or tourist passes, which can provide cost savings if you plan to use the bus frequently.
Timetables and Information
For the most up-to-date bus timetables, routes, and other information, you can visit the official Monbus website or check with the Sitges Tourism Office. They can provide you with detailed information regarding bus schedules, ticket prices, and any changes or updates to the bus services.
Sitges buses provide a convenient and reliable way to explore the town and travel to nearby destinations. Make sure to check the schedules and plan your journeys accordingly to ensure a smooth and efficient travel experience.
